Essential Parfums Velvet Iris opens with pink pepper, turmeric leaf and buchu leaf for a spicy, fresh start. At its heart, iris concrete warms up between galbanum and mastic. The base is formed by sandalwood, labdanum and Saffiano, a molecule with a suede-like leathery character. Perfumer Dominique Ropion wrote the iris as a woody, sensual reading of the flower.
