Aquatic fragrances are characterized by bright and salty aromas that are established through the use of synthetic molecules like calone and ambroxan. However, there is a special ingredient in BLV Parfums (IYKYK) Aqva that makes it one of the most realistic expressions of the genre. This is the note of seaweed, and the naturally salty aroma combines with grapefruit and mandarin for a tart and warm illuminating opening. The freshness of the citrus notes eventually evolves into a heart of rosemary and seaweed for the aromatic sensation that makes this fragrance so unique. A base of cedar wood from Virginia and amber is long lasting to give this aquatic fragrance strength and vigor. Serene Sea is our take on this aquatic masterpiece from 2008, and its release assured consumers that the Aqva line was heading in a favorable direction!

What's the difference between a sample and a full size?

A sample (decant) is a smaller amount of perfume (usually 2-10ml) that's perfect for testing a scent first. The full size is the original bottle as made by the manufacturer. Both contain exactly the same scent and quality - samples are ideal if you want to try a perfume before investing in a full bottle!

How long does a 100ml bottle of perfume last?

A 100ml bottle contains around 1200-1500 sprays. With average use (2-3 sprays per day), that lasts 1.5 to 2 years! That makes perfume very affordable per use. For special occasions, it naturally lasts even longer.

How quickly is my order shipped?

Orders are processed within 2–3 business days and then shipped with GLS, FedEx or DHL. After dispatch, delivery usually takes a further 3–5 business days, so 5–8 business days in total. You always receive a track & trace code. The delivery time for your country is listed in our shipping policy.

Can I return my perfume if I'm not satisfied?

Due to the hygienic nature of perfumes, we unfortunately can't accept returns on opened products. That's why we always recommend trying a sample first before ordering a full size. That way you'll know for sure the scent suits you! Unopened products can be returned within 14 days.

How should I store my perfume for the best shelf life?

Store your perfume in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid the bathroom due to humidity and temperature fluctuations. With good storage, perfume easily stays good for 3-5 years, often even longer. Always keep the cap tightly closed to prevent oxidation.
